She graduated in 2007 and worked as a teaching assistant for Grupo Terapia Manual courses for 5 years. She has worked with the SMT Halili technique since 2011. She is also a professional dancer, which enhances her awareness of the body and of movement.

She frequently updates her training directly with Dr. Halili in Tucson, AZ, and continues to refine her skills through courses such as Barral (Visceral Manipulation), CranioSacral Therapy (Upledger), and a dissection course.

In 2022, she completed a postgraduate program in Osteopathy at the Escola de Osteopatia de Madrid. Since 2018, she has been working with the SMT Halili Brasil team, bringing extensive clinical experience.

Carolina Carmelo is a physical therapist who graduated from PUC-Campinas in 2004, with a specialization in musculoskeletal therapy and acupuncture. Since 2011, she has used the SMT Halili technique and has continually refined her skills through renowned courses, including CranioSacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute, Physiological Chains (Busquet Method), and Dermoneuromodulation at Instituto Salgado.

Carolina has been part of the SMT Halili team in Campinas since 2024, where she applies her specialized knowledge and experience to provide high-quality care to patients. Her dedication to continuous improvement and holistic care sets her apart as a highly qualified professional and a valuable member of the SMT Halili team.

Gustavo Sato is a physical therapist who graduated in 2004 and the founder of SMT Halili Brasil, established in 2011. Since 2008, he has worked closely with Dr. Halili in Tucson, AZ, continually dedicating himself to professional development. He has deepened his knowledge through several renowned courses, including the Jones Fascial Counterstrain technique, Visceral Manipulation at the Barral Institute, CranioSacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute, and anatomical dissection courses.

Since 2017, Gustavo has divided his time between Campinas, SP, Brazil, and Tucson, AZ, USA, and has provided more than 40,000 patient sessions. His experience and dedication to continuous development set him apart as a distinguished professional in the field of physical therapy.

With a career marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation, Gustavo Sato plays a fundamental role at SMT Halili Brasil. His direct collaboration with Dr. Halili keeps the clinic up to date with the evolution of the most advanced techniques.

Luiz Campanholi began his career in massage therapy in 2015, an experience that developed his manual skills and deepened his knowledge of musculoskeletal structures and the main types of pain reported by patients.

In 2018, he completed training in Dry Needling to improve the precision and quality of his treatments. In 2021, he graduated in Physical Therapy, broadening his technical foundation and consolidating his clinical practice, with a focus on pain reduction, muscle relaxation, and improved range of motion.

Seeking new tools, he trained in Fascial, Visceral and Neural Movement at AB Fascias, in Campinas. In 2022, he was introduced to the SMT Halili technique and, fascinated by the results, completed the course with Gustavo Sato in 2024. He began his SMT Halili clinical practice in Sorocaba alongside Ramon Gambugge and, in June 2025, joined the SMT Halili Campinas team.

Paula Costallat Ricci is a physical therapist who graduated from PUC-Campinas in 2004. With a specialization in pediatric neurology from Unicamp and in Pilates from the PhysicalMind Institute, Paula has a solid academic and professional background. Since 2013, she has collaborated with Gustavo Sato, continually refining her skills through renowned courses such as Visceral Manipulation at the Barral Institute, CranioSacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute, and anatomy courses.

Since 2018, Paula has been part of the SMT Halili team in Campinas, where she applies her extensive experience and specialized knowledge to provide heartfelt, high-quality care to patients.
