Patient Journey

From first contact to after your session, in five steps. The path is simple: you reach us on WhatsApp, you are registered, you schedule and check in online, and then you come in for your first in-person session in Campinas.

What a session is like
  1. First contact

Talk to us directly on WhatsApp. This is where every new patient begins, with no form and no waiting.

At the clinic

What is an SMT Halili session like?

From the first conversation to the treatment table: what to expect.

Before you arrive

Come comfortable.

You stay dressed the whole time. So come in comfortable clothes (avoid a skirt or dress), bring any test results you have, and check in online using the link you receive with your confirmation.

  • Comfortable clothes
  • Your test results
  • Online check-in

First appointment · about 1 hour

First, the conversation.

You tell us everything that bothers you: not just the pain that brought you here, but also your sleep, digestion, fatigue, anxiety. Each complaint goes on the list of patient-identified problems, the PIP scale, with a score from 1 to 10.

What the PIP is
  • “My knee hurts.”
  • “I sleep badly.”
  • “I’m constipated.”
In your own words
  • Knee pain8
  • Sleep7
  • Bowels6
Your list, with scores

First appointment

No tests that provoke pain.

Instead of tests that reproduce the pain, we listen to your story: how it started, what makes it worse, what relieves it, and what gets in the way of your daily life. From there, the therapist builds the clinical reasoning and explains the plan.

  • What will be worked on
  • In what order
  • And why
The plan, explained before we begin

On the table

Light touch. Sustained positions.

About a minute in each position. No cracking, no force, no pain. Some people relax to the point of falling asleep.

On the table

Standardized protocols.

Defined sequences, always performed the same way and chosen for your case.

After the session

Your body keeps responding.

The response comes over the following hours and days. Write down what you feel in Meu Diário (My Diary), in the clinic’s system, and tell your therapist.

  1. Day 1Tired, body sore.
  2. Day 2Slept deeply.
  3. Day 3The pain fluctuated in the afternoon.
